Use Your Marketing Skills

1- Do your research

Learn as much as you can about the pay scale of the company that wants to hire you. Find out the industry average, as well. You may aspire to a career in scheduling at a major airline, but if the company's practice is to hire from within, you might need to accept an entry-level position. Union constraints may limit any flexibility on salary levels, no matter how many university degrees you have.

As part of your research, you need to have a clear idea of what your minimum salary expectations are. Do the math in advance and decide what your deal-breaker point is. There's no point wasting your time -- and the company's -- interviewing for a low-paying job in a company or industry that may not be able to offer the wages you need.

2- Don't tip your hand

Leave the salary expectation question blank on application forms, and don't mention a specific salary level in your cover letters. You want to get past the paper screening into the "to be considered" file without anyone thinking your anticipated salary is too high. You also don't want to lock yourself into accepting an offer of $55,000 per year if the decision-makers had budgeted up to $70,000 to fill the vacancy.

Success or failure?

I supposed all of us want success right? But what is the key to success?

The key to success is not actually by studying hard, smart, and keen in it. The key to success is actually loving the subject, despite knowing that the subject may be such a bore to you, or a subject that kills you a lot, just love em guys! And also the first step to success is actually fall! You fall and don't wept like a cry baby if a person looks down on you. The truth is ugly! HAHAHA Got that from Ugly truth, but its true guys, Seriously, not all humans are born with such direct loving personality, they are the people who I label as "Love is mean people"

The way they show their concern is by harsh words that actually will demoralized you but the fact is they are motivating you, but of course the wrong way. But too bad, they are born in a life they used to live with their forefathers. We all know that the olden days and the modern lifestyle is different. But look at the modern life, what we are amiss from the term hardship. A hardship

that one should feel and take it as a booster in life to work harder in life!

Why not you take the challenge to actually show them that you can do it! Instead of saying, I'm trying, I'm trying, don't try! Stop trying and just do it! Yes just do it like how Nike says it!

First, you know that you are at falling state, well you are already falling! That's good, but the consequences are hearing the nagging, the demoralize words from your parents. You wanna know why they nag and disappointed with you? It's because they work their ass off to feed you clothes, pocket money, transport money, bags, books, living, schooling and almost everything you want they give it to you!

But what did you give it back to them? Nothing! Parents want you to do well in school! That's all!

What they wanna see from you is their children being successful in life. They doesn't wanna see you drowning in life, cos the FUTURE IS NOT EASY! Get this in your head!

Seriously, have you seen your parents work? Have you ever thought of it? Have you ever put yourself in their shoes? Have you ever have a minute thoughts about why they nag at you? Besides thinking about they are looking down at you, think why they nag?

It's your fault thats why they nag! Look, some parents will look down at you and not giving such moral support, cos they don't want it to be like a,"Masuk telinga kanan, keluar telinga kiri." Yes they are at fault too, cos some words of motivation will hype us up. But be surprised, some children will say, 'Alaa I know la I know..'

So guys, if your parents nag at you, hug em and say,'I love you, Dad, mum, for nagging me, i know you love me.' Just say something like this to them.

3 steps to apologize!

1) Tell them your sorry

2) Tell them the truth

3) Ask them how you can make it right to them?

That really shows how sincerity you are. I learnt this from Randy Paush.

After you fall in the deep blue sea of tears you have shed, what is your second step?

PICK YOURSELF UP!

What do you do to pick yourself up? Breathe in and just close your eyes and see yourself, making your parents smiling, by showing them that you are not going to disappoint them again.

How? First you need to really love your enemy! That is your most hated subject, put in much interest in it, if you don't know? ASK! ASK YOUR TEACHER! THEY WILL HELP YOU!

Second, STOP SKIPPING SCHOOL! WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO SKIP SCHOOL LIKE AS IF IT'S A FREE SCHOOL! DON'T YOU FEEL GRATEFUL THAT YOU ARE FORTUNATE TO BE IN SCHOOL. THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO WANTS TO BE IN SCHOOL BUT DUE TO THEIR STATE THEY CAN'T SO CAN YOU STOP BEING BEING BEING SUCH AN ARROGANT PUPIL AND NOT WANTING TO GO TO SCHOOL.

If you say that the teacher is boring, oh let me tell you, you are more boring! Cos you bore yourself to death that you pointed others are boring. Look, not all will get a fantasy teacher, but you need to understand them, you need to work with them. Let me tell you, I love strict teachers cos when you really work with them, you see they are the most loving teacher and have great sense of love towards their students, at the end of the day you will be jumping with joy cos you have great ace and you will remember that strict teacher actually changes your life. But the fact is, you did it.

So stop pointing others fault! And don't blame your parents or teachers if they look down on you or scolding you. Cos you have been skipping school. You think its cool? It's effing not! Seriously it's not! You're just wasting your life! Don't you want to learn something in life? Or just wasting your time out there with your friends who just wants to have fun?

Let me tell you something that will eventually be a hurtful one, but the truth is ugly!

True friends are friends who will ask you out to study and do something good, they may not be the nerdy geeky ones but the beautiful ones who cares about your future too. They want to see success in you and together no jealous of barrier amongst each other. Hey there are some people who will say, 'I know you're cleverer than me and bla bla bla..'

Let me give you a clear picture, do you want your life to be like this in 10 years time or you want to see yourself with a career? Think about it!

So I've touched on the 2 steps of the fall and the rise. Now the last step, if you want to be on top, you have to walk your way to the thick and thin forest, climb the mountains and above the clouds you will find your place to flag high your happiness.

The last thing to do is, don't do it for your own, but also for your parents. You are happy, you're parents are happy too. Whenever I think about my parents, having the hard time raising me up to give my every needs, my wants and my life, I just burst into tears. They sacrifice their time mostly at work to financially support me and they spend their time in any ways to support you. But if you already giving up on yourself, how can they not give up on you?

It's not hard to study, it's easy, yes it may be boring and stuff, then make it fun, maths is fun you know seriously, you have to play with it. Science is a killer to memorize, but its amusing when you get to experiment it. English is a language killer, but if you practice it verbally, you can make it.

What's so hard in life? What is it? Ask people who are working out there or those drop outs or anyone who is not schooling right now. Ask them, if you are given an opportunity to study, would you like to study or do what you are doing now? I've asked them, and mostly wants to study.

In a few years to come, I will be doing my services and then perhaps pursuing my studies in Uni, insya'allah if i get an opportunity, indeed I want to, and then working lifestyle.

My friends, brothers, sisters and aliens, please don't waste your life by thinking about fun fun fun. It won't lead you to no where. Yes you can have fun, but after you've done your homework and revision? If you reached home and felt tired to study,

DON'T STUDY! COS YOU'RE TIRED!

Just take a break, play the net and etc or sleep! Then you get back on your butt on that chair and start doing your work. I believe that each of us wants success and not failure in life. Cos our life is only once, but our opportunity comes like a golden chance. So don't waste it okay! :D

Lastly, if you want a better atmosphere at home, start building it and make it happen like magic.

Let's talk about 'Love'.

When I look at young loving couple, I felt the miss of having a special one in life. Well, who doesn't right? But what does love really means? Only the happy moments you enjoyed feeling it? Or also the bitterness of the argument that makes you feel insecure? The lovely heartfelt words you expressed? Or is it only about love love love? Is there any more than that?

For me, if I were to love again, I would love to feel not only the love but also the closeness of having a friend who will listen and cry with me. All of us wants that. But at times, some of us actually left that out. What we afraid of is losing that one person, and what we could think of is to make the person happy and always happy.

But does only happiness can make one closer to you?

If for me, happiness just won't make one closer, but it'll just leave a good moments to smile on. What makes me feel the closeness is when you talk to me about your sorrows, your stress, your happy moments with friends, your silly moments and basically your ups and downs in life. The way you being yourself, that is what really matters.

Why is this important?

So that there won't be any hesitation. Believe me, there are people who out there afraid to be themselves, cos they just wanna impress you and not making a fool of themselves so that you won't run away.

What do you really look for?

I look for a relationship like this.

That is what I really look for. Someone I can team up with to shoot all the bad guys! HAHAHA! NOT!

I don't know about you aliens, but I would like to have

a person who is like Angelina Joline in stunts! Who is ready for action! Who can jump higher than me but must be shorter than me. XD

To sing along with me, to laugh with me, to be crazy like me, to debate with me, to swing the guitar at me when I'm being a retarded lame. Throw pillows at me at night when I stink, to push me off the bed and chase her in the house with cream. Messing up the kitchen , poke her while she asleep, and ended up in embrace.

Isn't it sweet to think about this, your dream girl/boy, what you expect from the person, what you want to happen, what you foresee in the relationship. Well, not all we planned run accordingly. Like a saying,'We plan it, but God decide it.'

When you really feel the break down of the relationship, don't just keep quiet, but tell the truth of what you're feeling, he/she will listen. Cos both of you wouldn't wanna lose the love. But if at times, the reason of the break up is beyond your will, it's better not to say it but hoping that he/she will understand you indirectly.

I'm trying to look at the good but right now i just want to cry.
I don’t know what I am doing anymore.
Maybe its the fact that I feel so alone.
I really only have ONE really close friend who is like a Sister to me.
But I always feel unimportant and like i dont matter.
I am so confused with my life.
I cut my dad out of my life a while ago.
And one of the reasons i feel so unimportant is because my own FATHER has not even made an effort to come back into my life; Which shows he doesnt care.
I dont want him back in my life anyway. Period. AT ALL. But it kinda hurts that he doesnt wanna come back into it at all.
And one of my best guy friends is the guy i want to be with.
I like him alot; and i think he might know.
But i dont understand. I like him so much; I just want to be with him; I think he likes me as well because he seems to flirt with me. But he does not realize how much i care about him and how much i am hurting because i want to be more than friends.
And i miss my bestfriend from last year.
We got into the biggest fight and there is no way she would even consider being my friend again; because all that happened was to much to bear.

There may be times in our lives when relationships - whether they are romances, friendships, or family ties - hit a bump in the road and seem to fade away, leaving us wondering what happened and why? If it's been a long time and it's clear to you that the relationship is over, but there was no final talk or last goodbye, you might be in need of some closure so that you can move on, and put that relationship behind you.

Steps

Define your loose ends. What is it that lingers in you that prevents you from moving on? What residual emotions are still tying you to this person? Usually it's some form of anger or guilt - anger over what a person did to you, and you don't feel they were held accountable to it, or guilt over what you did (or didn't do) to (or for) someone else, and your resulting sense of regret.
Forgive. The fastest way to free yourself from an enemy and all associated negativity is to forgive. Untie the bindings and loose yourself from that person's ugliness. Your hatred has tied you to the person responsible for your pain. Your forgiveness enables you to start walking away from him or her and the pain. When your enemy and his or her evil actions come to mind, send him or her a blessing. Hope the best for him or her. The first 15 - or 150 - times you try this, the "blessing" may feel contrived, empty, and even hypocritical but keep trying. Eventually, it will become a new habit and soon thereafter, the anger and pain that has burned in your heart will evaporate.
Apologize. If you feel guilt or shame, if you are the one who needs forgiveness, then apologize. But it's not as simple as saying or thinking "I'm sorry." Grab a pen and paper and write a full-blown apology, keeping the following in mind:
- There is no excuse. Do not try to think of or offer one. An apology with an excuse is not an apology. Take full responsibility for what you did.
- Make it a point to avoid using the word "but". ("I am sorry, but..." means "I am not sorry.")
- Do not say "I'm sorry you feel that way" or "I'm sorry if you were offended" --it makes it seem like you are blaming the other person for feeling a certain way, and is not a real apology.

The very act of documenting your relationship and closing the book, however, will help you find closure emotionally.

If you were a victim, reach out to other victims, and teach others how to avoid the wrongdoing that you faced. Make the end of your relationship with that person a turning point in your life. Give yourself time to heal. It won't happen overnight.
Whenever you think of the person, visualize him or her in front of you, then imagine yourself blowing him or her away. Whether they fly away like a dry leaf or scatter like dust in the wind, let them go. Do this every time you find yourself dwelling on the past. [ To clarify this point, this means blowing them away with wind symbolically. Do not picture yourself "blowing this person away" with a shotgun. ]
Having intimate relations with your ex is probably not a good idea.
If you've done a person wrong, find it in your heart to sincerely apologize for your actions towards them. Never do this in hopes of recapturing the other person's love, but merely for the sake of letting them know that you've realized the error of your ways.
If you have just broken up with someone (YOU broke up with THEM, not the other way around), and still feel a bit lost, focus on why you broke up with that person.

Warnings

Avoid distractions or any kind of escapism. Don't submerge yourself in substance abuse, television, or a new relationship. It will only delay your feeling of closure.
In a relationship that's ending, if the person says they need "time" or "space", give it to them, because ultimately you have no choice. Calling or texting or emailing the person does nothing but drive a wedge in their heart, making them feel that you are so self-centered that you still cannot give them their wish. If there is any love left for you, this time apart will help them realize it. The silence will hurt, but ultimately it comes down to two options : They will realize their love and return - OR - they will take this time to move on. Bad mood!

that's what i thought about when i heard those words from my manager's mouth telling me that i have to move and start working at another clinic for the next 3 months starting on the 1st of october!!

that means new place ..new staff.....new boss..... i hate that

i was upset not just because of moving itself but because of the unfair reasons that made him take this decision.

my mind went blank... i only remembered a line i read in a novel named "The Shop Around The Corner" by Nikolaus Laszlo when Joe was advising Kathleen - who was having some problems at work - that she needs to stand up and fight for her rights.. cause it's not personal it's business......may god forgive me but i hated my boss at that moment.....

but since I'm not that person and since i have no experience as I'm still new at the work life.....

i - as a good girl- started my new work...

the place is ( ....teasds trasdt..........) sorry but i had no English expression as powerful as this new expression anyway it means ( too far) and it's very small as we can easily ran out of chairs if there was a little crowd
now it has been officially 2 weeks and still every time i go there start counting hours till i can go home
i don't know maybe i should focus on the bright side ...as the clinic is much better and ah the manager surprisingly is not suffering from the controls syndrome!
anyway this issue plus more other things are making me not in the mood lately..

Am i an addict???

Couple of weeks ago i noticed a yellowish spot on the medial side of my wrist....i was like what's this??when? and how??? that's when i thought of trying something...and yes that's it.....it was nothing but a friction spot due to long hours of using the mouse!!!

i have this passion for technology...specially computers since i was a kid....many years ago even before having the net service at home i used to set hours in front of my computer just to figure out how does it work..

i guess i can call myself a Google addict cuz there's no single day passes me without using this amazing web site but a computer addict?? i don't know ..

infront of this fact i ran to check Google -like i usually do-trying to find the symptoms and the signs of this kind of addiction

No one deserves your tears and the people that do don’t make you cry.

I’ve been a firm believer on that sentence for a while until it was turned against me. I ended up making Best Friend cry, and i feel totally ****** about it. i never really did it on purpose and i thought she understood what i was doing. and that i would never hurt her.
The thing is that I am friends with a kid named Zach, he just moved to our township from one of the cities near it. but i did become friends with him for no untra interior motive, just to be friends with this guy cause he was nice and cool. And even if i had untra interior motives i was dating a fantastic boyfriend at the time, who i could never dream of cheating on [although i am no longer dating him, i still don’t think of Zach in that way, i never will hes like my brother only a lot nicer]. But a few weeks after i had know and hung out with Zach my best friend told me she liked him and i got really happy for her and talked with him about her and they ended up getting together. They still are together.
But, every story has a problem, and this is mine. I hung out with Zach cause he was my other best friend so the kids in my school started spreading rumors like all kids at school do until it got to the point where Rachel [the name of my best friend] started believing that i was going behind her back and kissing her boyfriend. no matter how many times i had told her it wasn’t true she never quite believed me fully. and that hurts me because i trust her with every thing i every do or anything i think of doing.
Yesterday….yesterday, i when to Zach’s house around 3, no big I’ve gone to his house before. sometimes with her sometimes with out her. i told him before i went up there, when we were talkign on AIM, that since their plans were still in the air and i was bored I’d come over for a while and if she IMed/ called/ texted I’d leave so they could do what ever that wanted to do alone. she didn’t do any of that so around 5 o’clock i went home and Zach came with me. My sister yelled from the computer room that Rachel has called me so i pick up the phone and dial her number and wait of her to pick up. she sounded either sick or tired and I’ve known her long enough to understand there was something she just wasn’t telling me. but i told her that at Zach’s house we played Guitar Hero and she said i don’t really care what you did Emily, you don’t have to tell me everything. but then later i read that it upsets her when i tell her this. and i really didn’t understand why i would have to call her first to see if I’m allowed over to his house.

All humans make mistakes. so “No one deserves your tears and the people that do don’t make you cry.” doesn’t make sense to me any more. everyone in your life will end up making you mad or sad. and crying is one way to express that. so how can either one of us just say screw you, you 4 year friendship. forget all the secrets I’ve slipped, forget how you comforted me when my mother was a ***** or when my ex broke my heart. or when my dog died. forget how i was there at your away game when your uncle died. how i sat there quietly and tried to make it better for you, or when your dad was an *** or when your step mom pissed you off. all the times we snuck out at midnight just to lay in the road during the summer so we could look at the stars. how we beat the **** out of each other but then 5 minutes later we are talking and playing around like it never happened because we both knew we would get over it. We always get over it. Zach is some one who LOVES YOU. you two have made me a believer in a romantic sort of love since i never before believed in that. It almost gets annoying when he talks about you like i wasn’t already your friend. but then it makes me smile because i know he only does this cause you are all he thinks about. Rachel Lyn, we are best friends and we shall be for ever more. I know that sounds totally Riane like to practically force you to [ha ha inside joke] but its just that without you walking next to me no one gets why i do the crazy *** **** i do. so yea…. never meant to hurt you but we can get over this….
